Yesterday we welcomed Pause Designs to our site. Today, we chatted with the creators behind these designs.

Describe your design style:
Streetwear with cartoon surrealist content.

How did you get into the fashion business?
Well, Andrew’s dad is Rick Klotz, Eric’s dad is Bobby Hundreds, and Ken’s dad is Justin Bieber. So, naturally, our dads wanted us to follow in their footsteps. We were pretty much forced into fashion as kids. We wanted to be accountants.
Why did you choose fashion as a career?
It’s not so much a career as it is a way to recruit members for our gang.
Who or what is your design inspiration?
Aaron Horkey, Jeremy Fish, Kaws, Craola, Tom Hanks, Glenn Barr, Alphonse Mucha, various street artists, etc.
Currently, what's your favourite trend?
Deep fried mars bars.
Who is your favourite designer?
Freshjive, The Hundreds, Johnny Cupcakes, Kidrobot, Upper Playground, etc.
What is the one place you hope to bring your designs to?
We’d love to get into Tokyo.
What's your favourite material to use for your designs?
Two cups of plastisol, 3 heaping tablespoons of creativity, a dash of combed fine jersey cotton. Mix well, bake at 375. Let cool before wearing. Serves everyone.
A big thanks to Pause Designs for this relatively short chat, but I think they'd rather let their designs do the talking.
