DESIGN + CONQUER

Capitalizing on her artistic talents as a graphic designer and art director, Calgary-based designer Morgan Mallett takes full creative control of all levels her accessory line, Design + Conquer from hands-on creation to video production. Established in 2009, Design + Conquer has developed a strong hold on the accessories market, creating innovative, industrial designs using unusual materials;including industrial tubing, prototyping plastics, and hand-set flexible plastic polymer. (Mallett herself invented and developed the application for the plastic polymer in her designs.)

Her extraordinary designs have caught the attention of renowned international outlets: It was included Refinery29’s ‘Hot New Products’ feature, she was named by ELLE Canada as ‘Ones to Watch' in October 2009 and was selected from over 1million ETSY shops to exhibit at ETSY’s first international office opening in Berlin, Germany in March 2010. Design + Conquer also donates regularly to animal rescue organizations, and supports animal welfare.
